This perfectly disheveled Swedish four-piece have been carving out taut, just-out-of-bed indie-pop for the last few years, culminating in their addictive, sugar-pop debut EP. Since then we've had the standalone, synth-riddled single 'World On Fire', which moved the band on from jerky Strokes-lite indie and into large, widescreen soft-rock. Last month's passing of Jason Molina, the man behind Songs Ohia and Magnolia Electric Company was an incredibly sad moment for the indie rock community. This weekend marks the inaugural run for Atlanta's brand new Shaky Knees Festival , and I'm stoked to be there to experience it! The two day festival will be held in a newly completed park next to a prominent Atlanta music venue, The Masquerade . The schedule and lineup is a bit light compared to other festival heavy-hitters ( Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, Hangout ), but for a first year festival, the lineup is pretty amazing.
