Paste Magazine has announced the suspension of the print version of their magazine. The announcement was made via their magazine site, Pastemagazine.com . "Today Paste Media Group announces, with deepest sadness, the suspension of the Paste magazine print product," read the statement . The magazine, which covers music, books, film, TV, and videogames, was in their eight year of publication. Financial trouble, more specifically "mounting debt", is cited as the reason behind the print suspension. The online version of the magazine will continue unchanged.

I recently came across Vibe's Magazine List for "Top 503 Hip Hop Blogs.. Honestly, I don't read Vibe. I've never really read Vibe. Vibe Magazine is the "adult" version of XXL. I don't read XXL. In fact, I really don't read any magazines. Correction, I don't read any shitty magazines. You know why? It's 2009. Why the fuck would I read a fucking shitty magazine in 2009? There's this new invention around, that doesn't cost $4.95 p/ issue and $19.95 p/ year. In fact, I haven't even had to pay for my access to it since I was [...]
This dude is a fucking bastard.Ahh yes, wintertime. Where it's too damn cold to go outside, so we all stay in and get the flu. I haven't posted here in a few days because for the most part, I've been in bed, completely passed out.I must have been really messed up in the head with the 103 degree fever, because I even gave the band Poison a chance, and now feeling a bit better, I ask myself: "

From their 4th Album/EP release, Rocket To Riot City Bankrupt have mostly been known for their Ramones / Descendents influenced melodic punk tunes so far. Now they have returned with the five roughest, angriest, and most energetic songs of their career, incorporating elements of Dwarves-style rockandroll punk, and punkabilly (from The Living End to the Peacocks) in their renewed sound to reflect the changed atmosphere around them. "Panic at the fireworks, riots on the streets / We've traded in reality for some shattered [...]
Skate punk is a pretty limited genre. All too often, bands will completely emulate their contemporaries as opposed to pulling some influences, which when listening to, leads me to say things like "Gee, I should really shut this off and just listen to some Deviates". Hungary's Bankrupt is able to avoid this problem by pulling in influences from a variety of bands. Sure, the melodic 90s skate

My inbox has been overflowing with music lately. One good thing is that I'm seeing a trend toward rock, punk, and pop-punk stuff rather than the "indie" music I had been seeing. No offense, but it's all in personal preferences and I prefer rock. That said, there is still a pretty good selection of things here and – whether your musical tastes always mesh with mine or not – I think you'll find something here that you can listen to. Like always, follow the links for more info. [...]
I recently found out about the band Bankrupt, the finest punk rock band to come out of Budapest Hungary. They have been a band for roughly twelve years playing their own brand of melodic punk in the wake of bands such as the Ramones and the Descendants. Over the course of their career they have toured all over the world while releasing three full length albums and they have recently put out a new EP entitled "Rocket to Riot City." Since I bought this EP a couple days ago it has been playing nonstop on my computer. The thing I [...]
