Belgian DJ/Producer Basto's remix of his own collaboration with Yves V, "CloudBreaker," was released on Smash the House Records today. In this version, Basto employs the familiar uplifting progressive house style we've heard in previous productions like the tantalizing " Gregory's Theme " and past remixes such as Starkillers' " Keep it Coming ." Complete with a piano introduction and huge synth breakdown, this remix is significantly better than the original in our opinion. Basto! The not-mainstream Avicii. You're probably familiar with ' Gregory's Theme ,' ' Again & Again ' and his ' Alive ' remix. Basto is no new addition to your iPod, but he does go in and out of hiding. He comes back to earth and gives us something to press play with in his 'Tonight In Babylon' bootleg. Whats good bugz?! 3LAU (prnounced BLAU) has just dropped a dope EP showcasing his variety of talents and sounds when it comes to mash ups. Rhianna's "We Found Love" serves as the vocal base for the 3 tracks of choice, along with Dinka, Knife Party, Basto being thrown into the mix as well. He touches on big room house, heavier electro, and the progressive side, a little something for everyone's liking.
