No question this is my favorite Beat Happening song. This was recorded on KAOS Radio, Evergeen and Olympia's local radio station. Beat Happening were playing a live set while taking requests for songs from callers. This song is normally sung by Calvin, but Heather takes over vocal duties but seems to forget a few of the lyrics in the process. It's still a great version of a great song. I'm finally going to get the chance to see my most anticipated movie of the year tomorrow: Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited . Death Cab for Cutie's main man, Ben Gibbard, has contributed new music to the rock doc of Kurt Cobain's conversations with journalist and friend, Michael Azerrad, titled Kurt Cobain: About A Son. That film's soundtrack was released yesterday on Barsuk and on it Gibbard's covers "Indian Summer" by K Records band Beat Happening.
