Today, bossa nova star Bebel Gilberto   continues her tour of the west coast of the United States with a  performance at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco as a a part of ,"The Hope & Healing Concert to Benefit Familiar de la Raz." Notably, the show will be opened by local favorite Diana Gameros. The Young singer/songwriter is currently trying to fund her first full length album. With summer coming to an end (in some cases already ended) this song serves to remember summer 2012 and all the summers before them. This track off Bebel Gilberto 's debut album is also known as "Samba Summer." It is Bebel's take on a bossa nova song from 1966 composed by Marcos Valle and with English lyrics written provided by Norman Gimbel.
