Almost the weekend, almost time to sail away. And wot better way to welcome it than with the BEIRUT 's summery new video, THE RIP TIDE .

Having just watched Terrence Malick's 'Days of Heaven' and being spellbound by some of the imagery, this new Beirut video perfectly spills into my morning with more beautiful eye candy. I know that I've hit the back button on the track form the album that bears the same name more times than I care to admit - I've got a feeling I'll be doing the same with this video. Enjoy!

It's been about a year since Beirut dropped their fourth album The Rip Tide and they're still dropping gorgeous videos for it. This time, for the album's title track, it's a solitary boat sailing through the sea as wonderfully-simplistic yet beautifully-striking imagery is being played out above the horizon.
