Belaire is back! The local synth-poppers, who offered up the lead track on our Sound Advice comp this year, emerged from hibernation last summer just long enough to release their debut full-length, Exploding, Impacting , to a sold out Emo's crowd, and then vanished again just as quickly. Belaire's Exploding Impacting 's lush sounds will float through your stereo speakers, emitting a carnival of delights for your... earbuds. The music is more kaleidoscopic as the album art itself. This album is a fun collage of a veritable sea of tones, enchanting and curious - ranging from Italian movie samples, Brazilian funk music, twee pop, and indie dance.
