While I never checked out Belle Epoque's original Miss Broadway , I've been enjoying the Glass Candy cover version for a long time. I figured out it was time to share the original with you; after all it may be even better than the Glass Candy version. I never really thought that anything would sound primitive compared to Glass Candy's vintage minimal sound, but Belle Epoque does just that. The Paris Based trio Belle Epoque are probably better know for their 1977 hit Black on Black, however for all intents and purposes we kinda dig that Ms. Broadway joint. Us and like the rest of the world for that matter. The Song is one of those quintessential disco tracks that every crate should have. Εδώ και πολύ καιρό ήθελα να κάνω ένα μίνι αφιέρωμα στην Ασιατική pop σκηνή, ή μάλλον σε κάποια έξοχα indiepop τραγούδια που ανακάλυψα εδώ και κει, από μια ήπειρο που παραμένει ακόμη και τώρα ένα μεγάλο μυστήριο σ'εμάς τους δυτικούς.. τουλάχιστον σε ότι αφορά στη σύγχρονη μουσική της σκηνή. Είναι αστεία βέβαια και εντελώς στερεότυπη η αντιμετώπιση τόσων πολλών διαφορετικών ονομάτων ως "σκηνή", μόνο και μόνο επειδή προέρχονται από την ίδια ήπειρο. Just got back from Brickhouse, I really like that place. It is owned by the Red Cloud cigar place which has CAO's. I had some good tea finally, it is a rice green tea, it actually tasted not bad! I really like the picture above. It belongs to the second Thai band that has ever been on BBQCHICKENROBOT. The Band is called "Bear-Garden" but I particularly like what it says at the bottom; "Love is all Around." I think I like it because I hope that it's true .
