The BEYONCE keeps her love lockdown (yep I'm listening to the KANYE) as she took her she-baby out into New York City town earlier today. I have the same black trousers, 313 waist, and usually combo them down with me a bright pink or green top. That is all.
Brooklyn's noisiest duo, Sleigh Bells, shows some love for Beyonce with an acoustic 'Irreplaceable' cover.

Fashion show's favourite darling Erol Sabadosh, produces a crunchy flavoured druggy groove that not only gets this reviewer up in arms regarding the epitome of all things pop and Fruity Pebbles, but manages to solidify his production choices across the many eclectic genres available built solidly for the dance floor. Twisted, military stomps and volatile impulsive tremolo's are taking this remix to battleground heights people! So you have been warned. Believe in play. Believe in Erol Sabadosh. BEYONCÉ - Best Thing I Never Had (Erol Sabadosh Remix)

We saw Sleigh Bells going in a smooth nineties pop direction (when they weren't continuing to utterly slay) on their latest record Reign of Terror, so we should't be so surprised by the band's next step – right into "covering Beyonce " territory. The band delivered their take on "Irreplaceable" during their Maida Vale session for the BBC, and it's pretty awesome. Fresh off the back of the release of Reign of Terror , Sleigh Bells visited Radio 12s Zane Lowe show for a live session. They recorded a tripped back version of single Comeback Kid as well as this, an airy-fairy take of Beyonce's Irreplaceable . It doesn't muck around and doesn't even feature their trademark sledgehammer guitar - pretty tame you could say. Sleigh Bells teamed up with Beyonce for a collaboration last year after the pop megastar was impressed by their track Kids but the project, which [...]

This is certainly one of the more odd covers you are bound to hear. When you immediately here that Sleigh Bells are going to cover a Beyonce track for BBC Radio 1, what songs would be appropriate? "Ring the Alarm"? "Countdown"? "Crazy in Love"? No, no, and NO. The duo decided to go with possibly Queen B's tamest single to date, "Irreplaceable". Crazy right? This actually works very well, and maybe was hand-chosen to specially show that Alexis has some serious vocal chops, and belt it out over just an acoustic guitar. [...]
Sleigh Bells have such a unique sound that they could easily put their own spin on just about any song they chose to cover - which is why it makes it so odd that they chose to make this such a straightforward cover. It sounds great, but with the acoustic (12 string?) and Alexis' airy [...]
Personally, I'll take a Destiny's Child jam over a Beyonce solo track any day. But when Sleigh Bells took to Zane Lowe's BBC 1 show to perform a cover of the 2006 hit "Irreplaceable", I was all ears. Taking a softer approach compared to just about every track on recently released Sleigh Bells full-length Reign of Terror , this floating little performance flexes the cutesy vocals of Alexis Krauss beautifully.

Chitarre [...]

Too bad I already did ' Don't Blow Your Cover ' this week. Sleigh Bells have covered Beyonce 's "Irreplaceable" on DJ Zane Lowe's BBC show. Check out the song below. Do you think it belongs on their album, Reign of Terror-ible ? Read more »

If Sleigh Bells were to have asked us what song from Beyonce's platinum-plated catalog we would like them to cover, our request would have probably fell on them tackling one of Blue Ivy's Mama's many beat-tastic bangers ( "Check On It" , "Single Ladies" , "Diva" , "Video Phone" , "Run The World (Girls)" , "Countdown" , any one of the Rich Harrison or Swizz Beatz-produced jams from 20062s B'Day ), as one of the R&B-Pop diva's most heavyweight knockers being delivered through the duo's sweet + [...]

Sleigh Bells cover Beyoncé's 'Irreplaceable' live on BBC Radio One and it turns out to be quite beautiful. I was hoping for a little nasty guitar in there but they kept it soft. Stream the radio rip below.

Sleigh Bells turned out a surprisingly sweet rendition of the classic Beyoncé track. I'm kind of happy they kept the cover simple, although I can't really imagine what a version closer to the typical Sleigh Bells sound would have been like. "Irreplaceable" aired on Zane Lowe's show on BBC 1, their latest album, Reign of Terror is out now . Read Lloyd's review here .
