Biffy Clyro have unveiled the latest video to be taken from their new album 'Opposites'. This time around, they've showcased the clip for the album's (almost sort-of) title track, 'Opposite', which sees frontman Simon Neil reliving some rather troubled memories, mirroring the melancholy tone of the track perfectly. Oh, and the band get involved in a car accident, so, prepare yourself for that. Check out the video below. We can't give Biffy Clyro enough praise this year following the release of their fantastic double LP, Opposites . They've gone from strength to strength since the release, headlining their largest tour to date, supporting Muse and playing a string of US dates including Coachella. Today they offer up the official video clip for the track "Opposite" which sees a rather warped look at the world. Biffy Clyro this year launched themselves into the stratosphere of UK rock arena status with the release of their double album Opposites . They played their largest headline tour of the UK too playing the likes of Manchester's MEN Arena and London's O2 Arena. The latter of which seems to have been recorded. As far as I know, the the biggest NYC venue headlined to date by Biffy Clyro is the 500-capacity Gramercy Theater. I've seen them there, and in considerably smaller spaces, too - the Studio At Webster Hall (capacity: 300) and Bowery Electric (capacity: 200). And Biffy absolutely lays waste to rooms that size. I can't think of any band in any genre that plays with more intensity, certainly none that does so while playing such intricate music. Of course, part of the reason why Biffy blow the doors off tiny rooms in the States is because they're accustomed to headlining [...]

Along with hundreds of bands last weekend, the now arena dominating Biffy Clyro released a limited edition 7" for Record Store Day. Biffy Clyro have today been forced to cut short their North American tour and return to the UK immediately; Simon Neil has been struggling with a serious respiratory problem on the shows, including two nights supporting Muse at Madison Square Garden on Monday and Tuesday of this week, and was advised by doctors that he was endangering his long term health if he chose to continue performing on this run. Thus, further dates with Muse across the US and Canada, plus a second weekend performance at the Coachella Festival this coming Saturday, have now been [...]

Taking to the stage right before Dizzee Rascal and Muse themselves, Bastille will be performing at Coventry's Richo Arena, London's Emirates Stadium and Manchester's Etihad Stadium. Biffy Clyro however will be playing with Muse on their North American tour and will also tour together this summer at selected shows across Europe. Biffy will be the main support for dates in Amsterdam, Paris, Turin and Berlin throughout June and July.
