To be a highlight from Frank Ocean 's already outstanding debut Channel Orange is an achievement in itself, but "Pink Matter", which features André 3000 , has now become even better. Serving as an Outkast reunion of sorts, Big Boi drops his remix of the crooner's smooth beat, deftly blending his raps amongst the funky basslines and sultry guitar riffs. Earlier this month we wrote about Andre 3000 and Big Boi reuniting for a remix of Frank Ocean's song 'Pink Matter' , and on Friday night it finally found its way online. The remix, which appeared on Big Boi's Soundcloud page on Friday evening, feels like less of a remix and more of a Big Boi edit by means of him laying a solid verse in between Frank's verses and Andre 3000's original rap. Unfortunately there's no new verse from 3000, and so it doesn't feel quite like an Outkast reunion [...]

Last year, when Frank Ocean 's brilliant Channel Orange was being released, Outkast member Big Boi tweeted that he was intending on appearing on said record but his counterpart Andre 3000 refused people to hear a reunion unless it was on another Outkast album in its own right.
