
Acoustic folk-rock duo Birdlips comes from Charlottesville, Va. Cliff Usher (vocals and guitar) and Lindsay Pitts (electric piano, organ, and backup vocals) take the folk sound and turn it on its ear. While some of their style comes from the mountains of Virginia, a lot of is in part of Usher spending time abroad in Valencia, Spain. They sound a lot like Nick Drake meets She & Him.
