On December 23rd, the Washington D.C. area received 16 inches of snow, making it the sixth largest snow storm the area had seen in recorded history. Shortly thereafter, I escaped to my home country of South Africa, where summer reigned supreme. Friday night the Mrs. and I headed out to our first show at what is probably Chicago's newest live music venue, Lincoln Hall . It's the new space from the same guys who've owned Schubas (one of our faves) for years and they really didn't miss a thing.
