It’s been a little over four months since Black Marble released their last record A Different Arrangement on Hardly Art Records. In the interim, they’ve toured in support of the record and peddled their post-darkwave wares across the country, though oddly enough they’ve yet to play a tour on the west coast. Brooklyn dark synth duo otherwise known as Black Marble have premiered the video to their single, "A Great Design" on Noisey today. The video, directed by Antoine Camard and Théo Sixou , was shot outside an abandoned building in Paris and captures true teenage rebellion. Click here to view the embedded video. Taken from their debut album A Different Arrangement , the record is out now on Hardly Art Records .
... You might remember "A Great Design" . After all, I did write about it last year. Hell, it was even my 7th favorite track of 2012 according to this list . Black Marble have finally gotten around to releasing a video for this excellent track. Their update said that "this was shot outside of Paris in an abandoned building with a bunch of kids. It rules." Brooklyn duo Black Marble follow-up 2012's Weight Against the Door EP with their debut full-length, A Different Arrangement. The set of eleven tracks feature synth pop and rock filled with infectious melodies, warm tones, reverb, and thumping bass.
