Toronto, ON's Cancer Bats will be heading out on a short Canadian tour this month. The band plans a more extensive tour of the U.S. and Europe next year. The group released Hail Destroyer in 2008. The group is also slotted to perform at Taste of Chaos .

Riot Fest is a four-year-old Chicago punk rock festival that's happening this year on Oct. 10-12 at the Congress Theater .
