This may be a weird article. Perhaps the first thing you may notice is that Aerosmith/Run DMCs Walk This Way collab is not on the list. This is because I think Aerosmith is garbage and Run DMC is outdated. Im sorry, but both statements are true. This is not to say I dont appreciate what Run DMC has done for hip hop, because I most definitely respect the greats, but in this modern era we have better genre-crossing tracks that are far less gimmicky. Blakroc is a rap/rock collab album by The Black Keys and several hip-hop and R&B artists. The whole album is pretty great and is definitely worth checking out if you like this song. They also put out an 11-part video of the process of making the album which you can find below on their website. Earlier this month, a trailer for Blakroc 2 hit the internet, advising us that another batch of music combining the fury of The Black Keys with the rhymes of hip hop's most elite emcees was coming soon.
