As I sift through, I might or might not be posting numerous sets from the massive Shea Stadium live archive released today, its pretty incredible, and being the big fan of the top 40 deconstructionists bl§§d øu† I thought it proper to post their 37 minute mind-fucking set from back in October of '10, remember back then ?

Our first guest mix this year was put together by Alex Winter, one half of BL§§D ØU† . "It features songs by some amazing contemporary bands, who, fortunately for us, happen to be our friends; a couple of pop songs that have inspired us; and some original edits that we have been making lately in a freezing warehouse in Bushwick. Some songs are slowed down (Justice, Britney) and some songs are sped up (†‡†, White Ring, Avril)." Witches of Bushwick: NC GUEST MIX#29: BL§§D ØU† [...]
Fully committed to the witch house genre and their grotesque penchant for substituting symbols or numbers for letters - or just eliminating letters altogether - New York outfit BL§§D ØU† are preparing to release their new album 3MPIR3 §†Å†3 via AMDISCS. I'm not particularly enamored of the genre, and this track is really no exception to...

Weekly Tape Deck has become your one-stop shop for everything BL§§D ØU† ( Blissed Out ) including this creepy montage, containing what seems like a dozen different movies (guess any?) and the bombastic song within backed by gurgling organ.

BL§§D ØU† (Blissed Out), recently signed to AmDiscs are ripping out new tracks by the week, "§PNNR§" is the first of these and their premiere single of their soon-to-come digital EP NYC Everything check out the overwhelming video for the track after the jump. Also below is another new song that can only be characterized by the bands own words: "a song we made while staying in a pool house in santa monica last month that features skrewed vocals of taylor momsen from the tv show gossip girl and the band the [...]

While BL§§D ØU† was wrapping up their recent US tour, AMDISCS, the label based out of Prague, approached them about releasing a digital EP & full length vinyl. The band agreed to do this &... **Summary** Go to website for downloads, videos & more.

BL§§D ØU†: §PNNR§ If you haven't already heard around the water-cooler , NY's Blissed Out are now going by the much harder to say (and type) BL§§D ØU†. While I'm fundamentally opposed to bands filling their names with unintelligible symbols, these guys are just good enough to pull it off (and hey, at least there's no triangles). " §PNNR§" is from the forthcoming NYC Everything [...]

I don't know if they took our plea to end the triangle epidemic to heart, or they want to be easier to google, but the band formerly known as Blissed Out is going with some gnarly symbols that in combination bear much resemblance to the full, spelled-out version of their name that uses real letters. Not really sure how you make that "§" without copy and pasting it, which lends itself to a short shelf life for joe bloggers who aren't worshiping this opaque symbolism. But, for at least this one s...
