Brooklyn experimental pop outfit Dinosaur Feathers released its debut LP, Fantasy Memorial , in 2009. At the time, the album's tropical vibe and sunny instrumentation were right at home amongst similar-sounding acts also on the rise. Since then, the group has toured relentlessly and reconfigured their own sensibilities for their latest LP, Whistle Tips , due out April 10th via Ernest Jenning. As we get set for the final episode for the popular NBC show, Chuck airing on January 27, I mournfully compile a list of some of my favorite songs from the most recent season. Vacation, it would seem, is finally over. For the first time in a few weeks, it was actually a bit of a chore to narrow this list down to five videos, since a lot of people are finally letting some good work out into the world. And I'm a bit surprised that two of them are animated.
