The LA trio puts a dark spin on the Blondie classic // Follow Owl and Bear on Facebook and Twitter for contests, MP3s, and links that don't make it onto the blog.

Once a demo written back in 1975 and later re-issued on their 'Plastic Letters' Lp it later went on to become one of Blondie's biggest hits. Many may not know that this version even exists and honestly it's a bit more funkier, grittier and more new wave/punk than the extremely polished 'Heart of Glass.'

Ahead of their live performance at Dance London Dance's launch party on April 6,  Drop Out Orchestra  are kindly giving out their edit of Todd Terje and Blondie for free. Drop Out Orchestra have been bumping up their hype game recently, and this particular edit/mashup has been causing a stir as well! The vocal seems a bit odd over top of Terje 's track, but it works out surprisingly well and the kids can't get enough of sampling these days. Free download below, yo!
