Last night The Avett Brothers were the musical guest of choice for Jimmy Fallon and they brought along an excellent sounding cover of Bob Dylan's "One Too Many Things". The cover appeared on the Amnesty International compilation that features tonnes of talent playing Dylan covers including QOTSA, Cage The Elephant and Silversun Pickups. Dylan salutes Martin Scorcese with a performance of his 80's classic.
At last night's Critics' Choice Awards, legendary director Martin Scorcese was presented with the Music + Film Award for his music documentary work. Scorcese was also serenaded with a performance by Bob Dylan (who was featured in Scorcese's 2005 documentary No Direction Home ).
