Bobby Womack's album, "The Bravest Man In The Universe" his first original album in 18 years, is surely on our shortlist for top album of the year. Recently, Womack and Producer Damon Albarn took to the Jools Holland stage and played "Please Forgive My Heart." This is a legend (in my eyes) that we are watching.

Deity-like genius and R&B soul legend Bobby Womack sure has aged well, his finger about as much on the pulse as an airport arrivals medic caught up in the fainting scenes of 602s Beatlemania. Womack performed 'Please Forgive My Heart' last night on Later... With Jools Holland , his emotive croon cascading over a sparse backdrop of minimalist beats. Check out the performance above.
Later... with Jools Holland was back on UK airwaves Tuesday night, this time with performances from Mumford and Sons and Bobby Womack . The Mumfords ripped through "Whispers in the Dark", while Womack and an ensemble led by Damon Albarn performed "Please Forgive My Heart". Watch the video replays below.
