You Give Love a Bad Name.
Indie rock band, Miracles of Modern Science , have given the internet world a fun little treat with their new mini-project, Bon Joviver. They have taken the musical stylings of Bon Iver and combined them with the classic 802s pop tune, "You Give Love a Bad Name", written by, of course, Bon Jovi. Thus, giving us the name, Bon Joviver. Short and silly, but very entertaining. I'm pretty surprised that Jimmy Fallon hadn't already come up with this.

Mash-ups always start with a good name. Or maybe they end with a good name. Who knows, but most musical mashes have a good name that somehow links the two acts together like an awkward sexual position. Bon Iver. Bon Jovi. It seems foolish that it took this long for these two to finally come together. The result? Amazing. It's not really a mash-up, more like a Bon Jovi song imagined as a Bon Iver song, by five bold and daring men who chose to ask, "Why not?" Well done, Miracles [...]
Bon Joviver - "You Give Love a Bad Name" // This is by far the best thing I've heard all day. - MW

The follow songs are all 'classics' we suppose, but there has never been a rule to say that classics cannot be annoying and shit. 'Twist And Shout' for instance: a classic, but if ever there was a 'fuck this, lets get our coats and go home' song for a DJ to play, it's would be this. So, to improve moments of tedium and pop dirge ('Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'Ace Of Spades' etc), a man called Doug Naugler (not pictured) has taken a collection of rock classics and turned them into ridiculous and VERY [...]

Ah, the first album I ever bought with my own money. To be completely honest, I haven't a clue. You see, I had an older brother who was well into bands like Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath , and a whole harem of Metal Bands. He always seemed to have a new cassette of some new rock band, which I later learned was always supplied by his knack for getting "Five Fingered Discounts." But this was my introduction into Metal, and I was influenced good and proper by my older brother. Although, I had [...]
