On May 22nd, Asthmatic Kitty will release the third album from Shannon Stephens. The new album, Pull It Together , was inspired by the Great Recession and features a bluesy, folk sound from the indie singer/songwriter. Stephens collaborated with a number of artists on the new album, including Jeff Fielder (Mark Lanegan, Isobel Campbell) on guitars, Steve Moore (Sufjan Stevens, Laura Veirs) on keys, and James McAlister (Sufjan Stevens, Pedro the Lion) on drums.
