Amsterdam producer Booddha's double whammy of 'Intense' and 'Never Expected' on his new release fall between the post-dubstep and future garage microgenres and are very much two sides of the same coin. Bloopy and blippy and filled with fresh air melodies and chopped and screwed vox, this guy is one to watch. It's out on his own label Vresh and EPs She Was Lost and Thoughts are up on Bandcamp .

Plucked from my twitter stream courtesy of The Leaving Scene , this fantastic little number from Booddha just kinda made my Tuesday night. "Never Expected" is the B-side to the also wonderful "Intense", also included below for your listening pleasure. Don't know scheisse about Booddha except that he's from Amsterdam (not to be confused with Hamsterdam), but I dig what he does with sounds. read more and hear the song

What I'm trying to say, in my roundabout way, is that I like this and think you might too. Out soon on Vresh. http://soundcloud.com/booddha

From the Netherlands comes Booddha (Neils van der Donk) with a free EP of garage / dubstep tunes for you to enjoy. Free download . This EP is light and gentle. Fatfish is a gentle garage tune but with a bleepy dub influence. All The Same 2.0 is jazzy dubstep with a lovely xylophone. Nowhere But There is wheezy organ and almost strays into IDM, whilst Mess does get there. Maybe You Should and She Was Lost both have a tinkly piano and gentle dub [...]
