The past two years I've made mixes to celebrate the joys of friend love (and beautiful music of course), and I'm at it again. This was meant to come to you on Valentine's Day and "real life" pushed it back, but I think the theme is timeless. This is just a little token to thank you for being with us on this journey, and always remember, Danger Loves You. Tracklist: Com Truise - "Datebar" [...]
Cris Prolific has just dropped this dope remix to the Danish collective Boom Clap Bachelors track Løb Stop Stå which is off their Mellem Dine Læber EP that came out last year. The track also
Robin Hannibal of Quadron, Boom Clap Bachelors and Owusu departs from the group gigs for a minute to promote his solo project, Bobby EP. With direction from Melinda James, Hannibal crafts a storyline of his own as he stars in the video for single, "Amends". The black and white visuals complement the gloomy audio perfectly as we wait for that upcoming Quadron project that is slated for a 2012 release. Robin Hannibal's Bobby EP is available now via Plug Research . Hit the skip to watch the video.

Vindahl - Down (Boom Clap Bachelors Remix) [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Being on Tokyo Dawns promo list is both good and bad. The good thing is that I on regularly basis keep getting some lovely albums that always end up on my iPod. The label releases everything from super intelligent jazz infused hiphop to heavenly indie electro pop. The bad thing is that none of it is house, so we have to keep keeping an eye on the remixes to come :) Vindahls debut album [...]

After falling in love with T he Heart , I was glad to hear that Tokyo Dawn was putting out a second volume. The original was filled with irresistible tracks that were both jazzy and sexy, and the sequel follows closely in its footsteps. For me the standout track is this Boom Clap Bachelors remix of a Vindahl original. Preview the other 15 tracks, and find out how to get your hands on the full compilation here . [...]

Boom Clap Bachelors - "Skynd Dig Langsomt" Produced by About Her Films. Directed and Edited by Melinda James. Album: "Mellem Dine Læber" First gaining recognition through Gilles Peterson's BBC1 WorldWide radio show with their 2008 track "Combiner", Danish collective Boom Clap Bachelors (comprised of Robin Hannibal of Plug Research's Quadron, Ronni Vindahl, Thomas Bisballe, and David Cytryn, with additional vocals from Coco O. (also of Quadron), and Liv Lykke) have quickly made a name for themselves through their soulful sounds infused with subtle synth and pop influences. [...]
Denmark, stand up and wave your flag proudly, because you have produced some of the finest soul music of the past few years. And a big reason for that is the work of producer Robin Hannibal. Whether he's complementing the sweet voice of CoCo O. as part of Quadron , producing for Brit up-and-comer Szjerdene , or working with his homies in Boom Clap Bachelors , dude has found that middle ground between electronic and soul music. Driving that point home is the Bachelors' latest single, "Skynd Dig Langsomt", which now has some sexy visuals courtesy of [...]
video by Boom Clap Bachelors - Løb Stop Stå Beautiful track and video. Boom clap Bachelors are a Danish collective of producers, featuring vocals by either Liv Lykke (or in this particular track) Coco O from Quadron . It's taken from their 'Mellem Dine Læber' EP that was released on Plug Research . Buy it here .

Lately I've been feeling sadly out of the loop on whatever is happening in music these days. So, when the guys from No Wav. tipped me to one of their latest releases, The Travalar EP by the suave and stylish MC known as Kris Mars, I was somewhat reassured that my assumptions were only somewhat correct. Because as excited as I am about this artist, I can't help but feel that at least one of these tracks, in particular 'The Painter,' has already garnered tons of hype. If it hasn't... well then I think it probably should. [...]
A friend put me on to this beauty by Boom Clap Bachelors , and I was instantly hypnotized. It starts out with cinematic strings, and then transitions into the most seductive beat. The one-shot video is mysterious, and frankly a bit strange, but the dreamy nature of it combined with slow minimal movements seems to fit this gem of a song. What more can I say, it's Friday, I'm in love.
As a music nerd, sometimes it's quite refreshing to know very little about something - like electronic collective Boom Clap Bachelors, for example. I know they're made up of Quadron members Robin Hannibal and CoCo Maja, producers Ronni Vindahl, Thomas Bisballe, David Cytryn, and additional vocalist Liv Lykke. They've released a handful of projects but this is their latest, presented on cutting-edge indie imprint Plug Research . The project, MELLEM DINE LÆBER , is completely in Danish, meaning I don't understand a word of it. But I love it anyway.

Visit the blog entry to see the video.] The homie Robin Hannibal & his many adventures continues with BCB's new video for Falder Ind Og Falder Ud. You can peep his other group Quadron in a city near you as well if you hit the jump for the deets!

You may have heard of Quadron , but do you know who is behind those melodic electro-soulful productions? Robin Hannibal is a very talented producer who aside from Quadron, is also a part of Boom Clap Bachelors (who just released a new EP ). In this track sung by Szjerdene , Hannibal creates a sound that mixes retro sounds of horns and synths but keeps it modern. Szjerdene - Lead The Way by Plug Research [...]

I've been telling you about BCB for a minute now. I've been telling you about all things Robin Hannibal come to think of it. The Copenhagen Kang always & I mean ALWAYS seems to create the perfect groove. BCB for those that do not know are comprised of Robin Hannibal of Quadron, Ronnie Vindahl, Thomas Bisballe, and David Cytryn; with additional vocal contributions from Coco O of Quadron and Liv Lykke.
