We've been watching the proliferation of music festivals in Florida over the last few years with great interest and this morning a new player has emerged in the form of the inaugural Orlando Calling festival. One year ago, the future of the Hangout Music Festival was far from certain. The concept was definitely intriguing: a three day, multi-genre music festival on the beach in Gulf Shore, AL, with high production values and big name talent. Last night a little after midnight, Austin City Limits, or ACL as the kids call it, dropped their 10th anniversary lineup for this year's festival. No real surprises as the major headliners were either already announced or revealed by the scratch off tickets, but still you have got Kanye and Arcade Fire in here as well as music legend Stevie Wonder, not a bad little lineup. The 2011 Cayamo Cruise took place last week and seems to have been an amazing experience for all involved... just one big, week long, floating concert. I didn't make it this year, but maybe one year soon.
