Finally, the latest ssssoundtrack has arrived, courtesy of No More Pop ! No More Pop is in fact a site that has been putting out its own monthly mixes since 2009, inviting a guest mixer for each edition. It's gathered a nice selection of contributors up until now, including Bottin, Ajello, Murphy Jax, Ali Renault and more, so it's unnecessary to mention I can highly recommend it. This time, No More Pop is taking on the mixing duties himself though. Containing tracks from previous No More Pop editions, this ssssoundtrack is some sort of [...]

There is a golf thing going on soon, the Ryder cup, one group of dullards face a group of simpletons in what is the quite easily the most pointless spectator sport ever created. I know this because my father still watches it religiously; one of the pleasures of unknotting the apron strings is that it no longer interferes with my radar until it shoes Mark Kermode's Film Review from it's slot (a most essential listen). Is Inside Out one of the saddest songs that the usually joyous genre of disco ever threw out? Garry Mulholland wrote a fantastic summary of its lyrical content in his book " This is Uncool: The 500 Greatest Singles Since Punk and Disco ". Pleasure - Take A Chance Brian Bennett - Solstice Bohannon - Summertime Groove

i dont know much about any of the below, but its a pretty righteous collection of 70's funk, jazz, groove and all around weirdness that only the 70's could have produced. some of the stuff actually sounds pretty timely, while some other stuff would make awesome personal theme music for either sweet loving making or just walking down the street. 1. ritual - nico gomez 2. je m'appelle geraldine - jean-claude vannier 3. pcyhedelic mood - piero piccioni 4. t plays it cool - [...]
