photo by Hollyanne Faber ( view set ) 2013 is going to be a great year for Seattle music, with so many new bands on the verge of blowing up. Seattle trio Dude York stands out among them with a promising 5-song EP released last June. Though band founders Peter Richards and Andrew Hall are such fans of their male moniker as to label their previous EPs Gangs of Dude York and Escape From Dude York , they've recently added Claire England, formerly of Brite Futures, on bass. Together, they create [...]

Inspired by the band's obsession with sharing random images from the 1940s, 50s and 60s on their Tumblr account , Brite Futures (formerly known as Natalie Portman's Shaved Head) gives us the video for "Too Young To Kill." The video features the band playing the roles of The Beatles, Audrey Hepburn, Nirvana, Marilyn Monroe, Orson Welles and many other film and music references.
