Έτσι και αλλιώς τελείωσε ένας Ιανουάριος με λίγες ειδήσεις και ακόμα λιγότερες σημαντικές κυκλοφορίες οπότε δεν χάσατε πάρα πολλά. Και γιατί να βιαστούμε άλλωστε; Ας αφήσουμε στην άκρη τα αυτιστικά μας που μας επιβάλλουν να είμαστε πάντα στην ώρα μας (αλήθεια από πότε καθιερώθηκε αυτή η ώρα;) και επίκαιροι και ας απολαύσουμε 40 από εμένα και 40 από την uptight (σύντομα κοντά σας) επιλογές από υπέροχους δίσκους. Παραδοσιακά, ο χρόνος στο some beans κυλάει πιο αργά. Όχι τίποτα άλλο, αλλά θα νομίζετε ότι είμαστε παλαιοημερολογί τες που τώρα γιορτάζουν την έλευση του 2012 και ήδη έχουν περάσει τις θηλιές στο λαιμό τους εν όψει της επικείμενης καταστροφής του κόσμου. Βέβαια, από ότι είδα σε μια αφίσα, αυτές τις μέρες πετάνε το σταυρό στη θάλασσα οπότε ακόμα κι έτσι αργήσαμε. Είπαμε όμως, στα αποστκτήρια του some beans ξέρουμε ότι η καλή η λίτα θέλει το χρόνο της. Επιτέλους, ήρθε η στιγμή που περιμένατε! (Το ξέρουμε ότι δυσκολευόσασταν να κοιμηθείτε τελευταία!) Μετά από επανειλημμένες ακροάσεις σε λίγες εκατοντάδες δίσκους και μερικές χιλιάδες τραγούδια, μπορούμε πλέον να βάλουμε καπάκι στο μουσικό 2011 και να δούμε τι μας έμεινε περισσότερο. Aveces pareciera que algunas bandas aunque no editen albums de larga duracion, en ningun momento dejan de trabajar en nuevo material el cual mas tarde es editado en algunas series de EP's o simplemente en algun nuevo sencillo en ediciones limitadas. British Sea Power has revealed plans for a series of six EPs to coincide with their ongoing residency in Brighton, England, as Listen Before You Buy points out.
