The husband-wife duo of Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, better known as Tennis , have crafted a beautiful cover of Broadcast's "Tears In The Typing Pool." While their does not stray too far from the original, Tennis keeps their audience satisfied as they gear up for their forthcoming release due on Valentine's Day of next year. 2012 (well, they play one show in 2011) will also mark the year of their tour. With the release of their Patrick Carney-produced sophomore LP inching ever closer, Denver-based indie pop group Tennis are doing a fantastic job of keeping their name in the spotlight. Today, the band released a cover of Broadcast's "Tears in the Typing Pool," a song that was originally released on the Burmingham outfit's 2005 album Tender Buttons . Vocalist Alaina Moore and husband Patrick Riley hardly stray from the source material, but that's okay. It's a solid update - even if it's only been six years since it surfaced on Broadcast's 2005 LP, Tender Buttons - and all the extraterrestrial instrumentation is intact.
