Broken Social Scene is one of those bands that will be just as well-known for what they produced together as what they did apart. The group helped spawn the successful solo careers of Feist, Stars' Torquil Campbell and Metric frontwoman Emily Haines before they announced their indefinite hiatus in late 2011.
