Take Blur's parklife sensibilities, crank it up to Arctic Monkey oomph and throw in the acidic humour of The Streets and you start to approach what BROMHEADS JACKET are all about. Laat ik met de eerste band beginnen, dan ben ik daar maar van af. Bromheads Jacket is een schandalig slechte band. Met volstrekt eenvormig songmateriaal en een oerslechte 'ballad' probeerde de band afgelopen woensdag Vera plat te spelen. Daar is echter wel wat meer nodig dan de energieke presentatie die de band wél had. Door het ontbreken van goed materiaal, of verrassende elementen werd dit een enorm plat optreden. Deuxième soirée du Festival Génériq durant laquelle encore pas mal de jolies choses se sont passées sur scène. Gentleman bricoleur, l'homme-orchestre de Son Of Dave doit certainement faire ses courses à la quincaillerie du coin pour trouver tout son matériel. Mais le résultat est surprenant, avec un ampli Vox (gros comme un attaché-case), une pédale, quelques harmonicas et autres bidules, il déverse un genre de blues qui introduit la soirée tel un amuse-bouche d'un gros menu d'un chic restaurant.
