Brookville is the interesting side project of Andy Chase, producer, multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of the electro-pop trio Ivy with Fountain of Wayne mastermind Adam Schlesinger. While Ivy (featuring vocals from Chase's wife Dominique Durand) leans towards what Chase calls a "tight pop framework" on albums such as the excellent Apartment Life or their most recent release, '05's In the Clear , Brookville explores Chase's singular vision of "languid, atmospheric music" on new September album Broken Lights .
