I don't know what's up but those are the current songs that fit my mood ; might be because of those rainy days or the nostalgia of losing my entire iTunes' music collection. Brotherhood Crusade is Zeke Wattles, a friend of The Tape and fellow LA-based musician. Using LSDJ and ProTools to make his music, Zeke constructs some really interesting GameBoy laden jams. If Anamanaguchi is chiptune power pop, Brotherhood Crusade his chiptune trip hop, with songs sounding more like a fuzzed-out Massive Attack than an electronic Andrew W.K. That's for his original work, but there's also some mashup work in there. A big contradiction: the vocals from MSTRKRFT's "Bounce" over comparatively soothing Kraftwerk beats. It works out quite nicely, as does his remix of Beastie Boys' "We Got The." The again takes [...]
