This is the debut album by Ohio's Brothertiger and at times may have you thinking of Ariel Pink though by the end this work feels like its own. The album will be released on March 27th. The project of Ohio-native John Jagos hasn't proven to be as off the wall as the oddly-named foursome of Animal Collective, but the outward reaching, spacey moments capture a bit of the zaniness that's so damn contagious.
