Buffalo Killers - Oh My Word Cincinnati's Buffalo Killers blues rock twang draws comparisons to an early Black Crowes sound. They've been on tour with them, so it just seems to fit, they released a fantastic album earlier this year titled "3." And now, they are giving away a single that they recorded not so much as a week ago. "Oh My Word," is an ambling tenderly plucked track with the three band members harmonizing quite well together. ARCTIC DEATH by Arctic Death I caught this album getting mentioned in a thread on the Needle Drop forum , and I had to check it out. As it turns out, this thing is a nice, tight little indie rock record. I'm catching whiffs of the Walkmen here and there, but these guys have a messier, edgier aesthetic.
