Today is winter. Though the sky is steely blue and the sun is shiny, it's cold, and we have snow. Is the new Bug single featuring Miss Red completely obnoxious? Yes, but that's part of why it's so awesome. The speedy and shuffling snare drums, distorted synth bass, and dancehall beat create a pretty exciting racket. Miss Red's got a pretty sharp personality as well, coming off like a cross between early MIA and Die Antwoord's Yo-Landi Vi$$er. With the third full-length LP since their reunion in '05, underground rock icons Dinosaur Jr. is doing what they usually do with the quality fans have come to expect. It's a bit more mellow than 20092s Farm , which has its ups and downs, but still very enjoyable to say the least. WATCH THE REVIEW
