Not too long ago Grimes was interviewed by fellow Canadian, Nardwuar, where she stated, "Bulldogs, they give me power." It wasn't odd or anything. Thing is, she makes fantastic music-the newest gem being a remix of Cadence Weapon 's "Conditioning". Grimes has teamed up with fellow Canadian Cadence Weapon to remix 'Conditioning' - returning the favour of the rapper using the instrumental of 'Eight' on his recent track, '88'. The guts of the track have been ripped out and replaced with Grimes' wailing, and only until we hit the 2:46 mark that things really start to get interesting. Last month, Cadence Weapon jumped on a Grimes track and made '882 but his first single proper from the new album Hope In Dirt City was released over the last few days. It's a new style for Rollie with some step ups in production and a full leap into a real singing voice. The album is out on Upper Class at the end of May. Hear the two other also excellent new tracks 'Crew Up' and 'Loft Party' below.
