After a second, third and fourth batch of my Lemon Curd and Sour Cherry Bars I still had some lemon curd and cherries wasting away in the refrigerator. I figured it would just stay there until the day (yesterday) when all I had in the house to eat was gluten and I was so desperate for something, anything else that I'd grab the nearly moldy curd and shriveled cherries and shove them into my mouth. This is a shot of my birthday cupcake baked by J-Fur. It was Lavendar infused cake, filled with homemade lemon curd and iced with Citrus-Lavendar icing. As one of the kids in my class would say "I have just one word for you. It was Marvelous." Hey, I didn't teach those guys how to count, I just multiply and divide with them. We drizzled the leftover lemon curd over Beecher's Cheddar Cheese for a beautiful sweet, salty, punch of a snack. I like my birthday music not like my cupcakes. This past Thursday, Dec. 1, 96X hosted Winter Meltdown at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va.
