Chester French just released their long-awaited video for their single "She Loves Everybody" off of their upcoming album Love the Future . There's nothing better than watching a hot chick beating the shit out of two guys who are just trying to perform for the cameras: Chester French will be opening up for Lady Gaga on her Montreal stop in March. The last couple of years the public, certainly of Denmark, have become more aware of the improved picture quality of DSLR-cameras, and the possibilities they possess for capturing beautiful scenery. Although it also has lead to more creative expressions I have yet to see any time lapses made by Danes of Denmark. But here is a taste of some fantastic time lapses with superb pictures made by people who probably do not have anything except photography (and spending lots of money on photography) on their minds! Cheers! Jason Good's -Exploration-HDR Time Lapse [...]

So, what's the deal with the camera necklaces? We really can't say. We know the one Theophilus London is rocking in our post on him is dope: and it's funny how he pretends that it's real (check the video in the post), but why are they so popular? We don't get it. It's just cool to rock cameras on your necklaces the same way Flava Flav rocked clocks? You can't deny it people, the camera on the necklace had to be inspired by Flava Flava with his clock rocking. Of course, the cameras don't have to be big, [...]

I'm sure we are going to see a lot more of them but so far we've only heard of two. San Francisco artist Tanya Vlach (pictured) and Film Maker Rob Spence both want to have camera's installed into their prosthetic eyes. This is a voyeurs dream and will no doubt open up a completely new revenue stream for the porn industry. I mean this is real POV without the need to actually hold a camera anymore, because you are the camera. OK so there's lots of other great things that are going [...]

So you thought my last music video was retro with its 50's theme? Well you aint seen nothing yet! This is the new video for my single "Clown" and this time I decided I would do it all by myself. So I did all the make-up and styling and filmed it (yes I used a camera stand). Then I cut it and edited it. But I'm not ready to throw away Jonas' fabulous producer skills just yet, I did have him help me creating the "burn-out" effect on the last few frames of the vid [...]

Whoever writes Steap and Cheap's Daily Dose is a genius. Today's email: A guy I met said that he was looking through some photos he'd shot during a long solo hiking trip when he got back home, and he found a photo of himself sleeping peacefully in his tent from the middle of his trip. Either he has a camera remote or wolves have developed opposable thumbs and we're all screwed. The story creeped me out at first, but now it just seems funny that someone would go through a [...]

photo: tuftsmania via flickr Remember how the inverter died on my Powerbook? Well, the hard drive finally came to a screeching halt as well. I'm thinking about waiting to see what Jobs has to say this late October. Either way, I'll probably get a new computer by then. In the meantime, things may be slow around here. R.I.P. 173 Powerbook 2004-2008. In remembrance, how about something from an earlier era of tuftsmania. The music on that page won't [...]
so your favorite rapper did some tribute tracks for a natural disaster? cool. did he or she hit the destroyed cities and make some changes? probably not. that's why trae and chamillionaire are great, making a real difference instead of just hitting the booth and trying to capitalize monetarily over tragedies. go to 3:35 and see exactly why they brought a camera along. great work! shout out to C.A.S.H. from HHU for this clip. DL: chamillionaire, slim thug & trae - [...]

this is the official, brand super new version of the song. 3rd version. like, he re-sang it, changed the drums up, brought the autotune up a little bit so it sounds like he can really sing, and added some guitar and stuff to enhance it even further. i hate to keep re-posting the same song, but this joint is actually crucial. indulge below . [log on to DCtoBC.com to jam it] DL: kanye west - love lockdown (3rd time's a charm!)

KANYE WEST IS OUT ON BAIL ( That's not the name of his new album! ) Kanye the Great , the artist and producer was just "Arrested Kanye West " Thursday - proving to us all - once again, that great artistry and basic common sense don't get handed out in equal amounts... West and members of his posse attacked an offending paparazzo (Ed. note: first and probably the last [...]

Okay, so that's a really misleading title for this post. Sort of. Technically, it's true. It will be post V-fest Toronto about now. But I didn't attend V-fest this year even though I love half of the bands who are playing. I decided I don't really like large music festivals. First off, being petite, I can't really see anything. While there is value to music festivals in which you can't see anything (ie. being with friends, gushing over your favourite bands, festival atmosphere etc.), I just prefer seeing bands in smaller settings. I like to push my way [...]

Nikon D90 D90 Back View | D90 Side View A day before it was set to be officially announced , product listings, photos and specs for the new Nikon D90 DSLR have popped up all over the Internets. Circuit City was one of the sites that posted a premature product listing this morning, (it was taken down shortly after it went up), but I managed to get a full screen capture and you can see that right here . Look [...]
by ricochet matos (music vid by eep! productions) The Little Pictures are a mini powerhouse out of New Zealand. They've only been together for about a year and are still working to finish up their undergrads in Europe. Their video for "This House Can Fit Us All" is awesome and their sampling and harmonic skills are fun and easy to jam with. Owl + Owl is their debut album, available for pre-order from lil' chief records. I like what I've heard, these fools are chill. [...]

Just a quick post about the lack of real choice at Best Buy - I noticed at Best Buy yesterday that most of the digital cameras all had the same features and looks... I could not believe how much Sanyo looked like Casio , looked like Olympus , looked like Canon looked like Kodak . Maybe you will say that this is just because I am comparing cameras only in the 150 - 200 dollar range. Ok.... then how about the " revolutionary design " of this Canon T90 SLR [...]
