Blissfully smooth Philadelphia funk duo Work Drugs , purveyors of perhaps the sun-soaked driving anthem of the decade, ' Rad Racer ', announced over the weekend that their debut record would drop in double album format this April 1st, with accompanying single 'Curious Serge' also dropping this coming Friday. Capricorn was the brain child of Dutchman Hans Weekhout an experienced musician, engineer and producer. In his early years he played bass and keyboards for mostly funk and soul bands before doing studio work, recording and mixing for numerous Dutch acts as well as for international artists such as Ian Gillan and Falco. After being influenced by the late 802s electronic dance music scene he recorded under the name Paranoiax, before recording as Capricorn in 1992. Come 1993 and he had a worldwide dance floor killer on his hands which to this day sends crowds wild. [...]

Claudio Simonetti and Giancarlo meo were one of the most important production teams in the italo boogie scene. They produced or performed in Goblin, Kasso, Crazy Gang, Vivien Vee, Easy Going, and many more. This is my favorite Capricorn track, it has much more soul than I need Love .
