It's easy to become enamored with the slick psych-pop of Salt Lake City-based five-piece Cliffs. "Four Seasons", the first single off their upcoming album, finds its footing on phase-friendly guitar licks and haunting vocals reminiscent of Luke Haines' nasally elegance. The warbly verses are understated but subtly infectious; they serve as a proper road to a soaring chorus, influenced by anthemic Brit-pop in its whirring background harmonizing.
