Mientras Tú Dormías... is beautiful album. Whether or not you are fluent in spanish, you should be able to appreciate the delicacy in Carla Morrison's work. This album is full of pretty guitar rifts, catchy saxophone solos, and even some pretty interesting drum patterns. Accompanying all this is an incredible female voice. I find myself singing along with these tracks even though I have no idea what I am saying. That's how you know how good this album really is. So I ordered mussles and fries--oh, I'm sorry, frites , for dinner. That sentence seems obviously apropos of nothing significant whatsoever, but here's my point: mussles is the perfect food to inadvertently savor.
