Fake Problems have posted a blog entry stating that guitarist Casey Lee has left the band. The band writes: In November Casey told us he didn't want to be in a band anymore. He's basically just not into traveling so much anymore. We understand and we love him very much, and we're all still good friends. We wish him all of the luck in the world in his future endeavors. In the meantime, a friend of the band will be filling in for Casey on guitar for their upcoming performances, including SXSW [...]

The new Fake Problems video has mermaids! And it's premiering today on MTV (and will also be played throughout the rest of the week on MTV and MTVu)! We're very excited about this, and not just because of the mermaids. Check it out here, then go read about it all here . Also, check out our acoustic session with Chris Farren here and download your own copy of "Songs For Teenagers" while you're at it.

We love Chris Farren, and we love David Bazan (side note, I once read a quote by someone who said "Bazan makes me feel so unified with the world" and that's probably the truest thing I've ever read), so we're stoked that Camera By Her Side got Fake Problems' (the official Favorite Band of The Ruckus) Chris Farren to cover Pedro The Lion's "When They Really Get To Know You They Will Run": While you're here, check out this interview with Chris and Ruckus hero Casey Lee: [...]

I really should have posted about this days ago, but honestly, I'm a terrible journalist. This is the best movie I have seen in 2011 and possibly ever. Directed by Anto Boros of The Swellers and featuring Fake Problems * as well as Into It. Over It. , this is a cinematic masterpiece wrought with drama and passion. Laugh and cry along with this all star cast in Political Punishment . *official favorite band [...]

You might be familiar with Casey Lee. After all, he does play guitar in Fake Problems , a band which Tiffiny and I widely proclaim as our favorite. Back in April, Casey released a solo EP called Comroms , with along with a note: The songs are in no particular order since this was never recorded or meant to be any kind of record. The recordings of these songs are how they sounded exactly then. It was never meant to be a single piece of art and most certainly was never meant [...]
There are a multitude of reasons why we love Casey Lee , but this video pretty much sums it all up. Watch as he gets dirty with the locals in Chicago during the Fake Problems / Crime In Stereo Tour back in 2008. I thought it would be fitting to post this since Tiffiny is at their Denver show right now, and I'll be at the Tampa show next month. If you hadn't planned on catching a gig before, you are now, right? Props to our friend Mr. [...]

Casey Lee , better known for his guitar work in Fake Problems , recently posted a free EP titled Comroms . Lee writes: The songs are in no particular order since this was never recorded or meant to be any kind of record. The recordings of these songs are how they sounded exactly then. It was never meant to be a single piece of art and most certainly was never meant to be finalized or set in stone in any sense. These songs will change along with everything else. I put them all together because [...]
All J. Roddy Walston photos by Ash Crowe Dave's Aqua Lounge, St. Petersburg, FL · April 9, 2011 We try to be casual about it, but Tiffiny and I really dig Fake Problems (you might have seen Tiffiny's recent interview with Chris Farren and my photos from their show in Tampa last month). So when I got a text from Tiffiny asking if I knew that Casey Lee was doing a solo set here in St. Pete [...]
