The year is 1999. Some of French house music's most legendary names seem to be all hitting their stride right around the same time, and this remix you're about to listen to is the perfect example. Jamie Jones returns to Crosstown Rebels with a EP featuring a new single titled "Moan & Groan" and two remixes to his 2012 hit "Tonight in Tokyo." With "Moan & Groan," you see Jamie's classic production styling emerge with the bouncy disco keys over a groovy and deep bassline. "Tonight in Tokyo" was released last year on Crosstown Rebels and was a staple track in many of Jamie's sets, but Ben Westbeech’s Breach alias (riding high on "Jack" success at the moment) takes the reigns on the remix, adding a timeless vibe with faint piano flicks and mellow synth work. Crosstown Rebels was home to the brilliant "Tales from the Crypt" album from Jamie Jones last year and he's returned to the imprint for another slab of quality house and drafted in some top drawer remixers to take on one of the album's stand out tracks.
