The things that stick out, they're kind of interesting anyway. As we mentioned a couple of months back, Scottish popsters Belle and Sebastian have earned the honor of being invited to contribute a second mix to the Late Night Tales compilation series, having turned in their first back in 2006. Granted, the band's idea of what constitutes the ideal late-night musical mix is probably quite a bit different from that of Air, Groove Armada, or MGMT, just a few of the other artists who have entered into the LNT realm. But [...]
![Nick Curly – Between the Lines review and interview [Cecille - March 2012]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4106162_lg.jpg)
If you ever complain that being an electronic DJ/Producer in 2012 is too much work, make sure to benchmark against Nick Curly. Except for co-running two of the 20112s most praised labels ( Cecille and 8-bit ) he also manages to deliver new top 10 track on almost monthly basis to Cocoon and to make a bunch of remixes for Soma, Liebe Detail ans Sci+Tec. And now finally, after a few years of anticipation to prepare a full length debut album to be released on Cecille in the middle of march. And it does [...]

Everytime Carlo Alberto Dall'Amico aka Cécile drops a new track i listen to it, over and over and over again... always sounds magical to my ears. This time he remixes "Embarque" from Aucan. I don't even know how describe this. I only know it makes me feel relaxed and happy to hopping that he will keep doing amazing music for many years... Follow Golden Scissors on Facebook

Artwork: Yannis Dragasakis La.Ga.Sta. offered its services to many weary travellers once more this year. By "following rivers" they drove "through the green" and found themselves in "English Riviera" only to come back again to our station for another refill. Taking a Friday drive down this year's memory lane, we think back on our numerous stops including among others: Our after-hours, absolutely wicked dj set in the VIP room of Melt! Festival. We might have missed Cut Copy's performance but we certainly had a blast. Shout out to T.E.E.D., Azari & III, [...]

I got confused when I recently saw this track pop up on SoundCloud thinking it was just a mislabelled track from the recent Johnwaynes record on Serenades. They are obviously fond of Stee Downes vocal talent and have commissioned him to sing on their even newer track to be released on the wonderful Cécille imprint. Belong To Me is part of the Yeah Yeah EP package and follows a different vein to the Serenades record, swapping up noisy and somewhat annoying arpeggiators for a smoother sounding approach, Johnwaynes have produced a track much more suited to Stee [...]
This week, let's go back to London. A DJ since the late 90's and a fixture of London's tech-house scene, Anthea's breakthrough came in 2009. Joined by Alex Celler in the studio, the pair released bunch of fantastic tracks during that period, in particular on Cécille as well as the now defunct but always distinguished [...]

Meet Esperanza : The new music project by Cécile with his friends Matteo and Sergio. These three Italian guys dropped today their first EP "Sirena" on Gomma, which is influenced by late San Francisco psychedelic vibes, Icelandic atmospheres, tropical vibes, Duesseldorf electronics, and mid 90's Detroit techno. The EP features Banjo Or Freakout on vocals and remixes from Luke Abbott and Broke One. Preview the full release here and check out the brilliant track "Aliante Giallo" below. Esperanza [...]

This track refuses to go away, our friends in London crew The Heatwave boosts the excellent shuffling Adele & Jamie XX version of "Rolling In The Deep" with a little help from Cecile, Mr Lexx and Timberlee. Big! Adele & Jamie XX vs. Cecile, Mr Lexx & Timberlee - Rolling In The Heat (The Heatwave Refix) (ge.tt)

Adele gets a dope island style refix on The Heatwave 's version of Jamie xx 's remix of " Rolling in the Deep ," featuring Jamaica's Ce'cile, Mr. Lexx and Timberlee . A bona fide Summer jam: mp3: Adele x Jamie XX :: Rolling in the Heat [The Heatwave refix] [via the fader ]

The original Jamie XX take on Adele's 'Rolling In the Deep' had a bit of bashment flavour to it - showcasing his knack for drawing on all parts of dance culture - but London's The Heatwave really tie together the dancehall sounds of Jamaica and the UK on this re-rework. I'm sweating buckets just listening to it at home; expect complete gland-meltdown in a club. Download the track here
