Brooklyn singer/songwriter/rapper Kilo Kish captured the attention of all upon the release of “Creepwave," and now the Brooklynite reveals her full-length project, K+. While the girl might be new the game, and [...]

Kilo Kish drops her brand new mixtape, K+ , chock full of features such as Earl Sweatshirt, Childish Gambino, SBTRKT, Star Slinger, and ASAP Ferg. Kish has been raising a buzz around the scene in Brooklyn for a while now, getting recognition for a diverse style and ability to sing and rap on the same track. 2012 saw Kish release “Navy,” and open for SBTRKT at Terminal 5 in NYC. Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of her over the next year. She’s also managed by ASAP Rocky’s official DJ, J Scott. [...]

Dubstep is the ultimate reorganizing of "noise" into bone rattling, body contorting, party rocking music. And Flux Pavillion is doing what he does best within the Dubstep realm-remixing that sound and finding new niches for the genre to inhabit. On his latest project, Blow The Roof , Flux incorporates more original Hip Hop than your mother is used to into Dubstep and offers a nice arc of heavy to light sounds throughout. Think of the whole EP as a full eight course meal. Don't forget your bib. It's gonna get messy. Flux starts off slow with [...]

Despite being attached to the G.O.O.D. Music roster for a few years now, Georgia-born rhyme-slinger CyHi The Prynce has yet to really break out from an under-the-radar ranking within his star-laden squad, sometimes making it easy to forget that he's even affiliated. Making things a bit worse: that his latest mixtape, Ivy League: Kick Back , would end up dropping the same week as his far more popular labelmate Pusha T's much-anticipated Wrath of Caine freebie. Unfortunate release date coincidences aside though, the [...]

Bass icon Flux Pavillion who has helped establish dubstep released his latest Blow the Roof EP which dares to go outside of his dubstep box. He brings electro house and breaks into the picture, with his own massive twist. This release further estblishes how forward thinking and versatile he is as an artist. Although he let out a good chunk of the release, hearing it all together really gives you the complete story he is trying to tell. We already got to sample The full version of "Do or Die" with Childish Gambino really [...]
Dubstep mogul Flux Pavilion (Joshua Steele) released Blow the Roof today, his first EP since 2010′s Lines in Wax. The eight-track EP features vocals from Childish Gambino, Sway, P Money, and even Steele himself. The English producer has been making music since 2008, but it wasn't until the release of "I Can't Stop" that Steele was put on the map in the dubstep community. Stream a few tracks below. After a few delays, Flux Pavilion's Blow The Roof EP is out today (UK and Ireland) on Circus/Big Beat Records. Flux's moombahton debut, "Blow The Roof", is contrasted nicely by the euphoric dubstep track, "Starlight". "Starlight" and another track called "The Scientist" (arguably the strongest songs on the EP) even feature vocals from Flux Pavilion himself. The EP also includes a brilliant collaboration with hip hop artist Childish Gambino that's sure to open up Flux's fan base. As one of the artists that really turned me on to the dubstep genre, Flux Pavilion's style is a standing example [...]

A New York 9's an everywhere else 6.

Have opted to give Community s2 a shot, despite the last few eps of one being a bit repetitive, and the CHILDISH GAMBINO doesn't feature but in his new video, L.E.S. , made up of late-night ventures in NYC town.
Chidlish Gambino pairs his slick, violin-saturated track "L.E.S." with a visual montage of late-night adventures throughout New York City. While not featuring Gambino himself, the video visits many familiar (or unfamiliar) locales across the city's Lower East Side. While not particularly outstanding the visuals suit the Camp cut pretty well, making for a fun five minutes. Catch the replay above.
Two years after the song's initial release, Childish Gambiono has released the video for L.E.S . Shot by Ibra Ake, the 5 minute clip follows a group of friends around New York's Lower East Side. Childish Gambino - L.E.S. Video is a post from: That Hip Hop Blog

Sit back and watch as Donald Glover uses his track "L.E.S." to narrate a group's escapades through New York City's Lower East Side in his latest official video. Also, rumor has it that Donald plays Lena Dunham's boyfriend in the upcoming season of HBO's Girls. So there's that.
