After three long years, Chris Brown dubbed the comeback kid of the evening graced the 2012 Grammy Awards Ceremony with two heavily choreographed performances and one win. The crooner took home Best R&B Album: "F.A.M.E.," Chris Brown beating R. Kelly's superb "Love Letter" album.

Did u watch the Grammys? Is there any sort of cultural commentary 2 add other than 'famous ppl of various talent levels gave us memes 2 overanalyze, mock, and slutshame'? THESE ARE THE 2K12 GRAMMYS.... 'I wish these were rotisserie chickens' [via hefty_ppl_jokes] Tonight was the chubwave genre's coming out party. Guy from Deep Blue Sea hosted [via Deepest Darkest] Bon Iver won some award that Skrillex should have won. Delivered horrible [...]

This is the future of music? The last time I watched a Grammy Awards telecast all the way through was when John Denver was the host, and the Eurythmics were the hottest band on the planet (that would be 1982, punk). Until last night - I watched from beginning to end, and learned a great deal in the process. If you were an alien who just dropped in from another planet and watched the Grammy Awards to see what music is all about, the first thing you would gather is that rock and roll [...]
In case you missed it, the Grammys brought out some serious untz last night with a David Guetta led jam with Chris Brown and Lil Weezy which moved quickly across the room to the Foo Fighters / Deadmau5 collaboration which was a little too rocking for me at first. The dubstep drop was so hilariously [...]

Chris Brown took the stage at the 2012 Grammy Awards , which left a lot of people angry. Three years after viciously assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna on the eve of their appearances on the Grammys, Brown returned to the awards show for the first time since his conviction of felony assault. With media outlets calling it his big comeback, some people [ hello giggles ] were calling foul. "I'm sick and tired of people acting like it's no big deal that Chris Brown will be performing at the [...]
Barely 24 hours before this year's Grammy Awards ceremony began, Whitney Houston, a woman who'd once seemed like a cyborg engineered to win as many Grammys as possible, was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room. Houston was exactly the sort of artist who the Grammys are built to honor - enormously talented, ridiculously popular, showy in a way that people in the cheap seats could hear just fine, willing to completely ignore any youth-culture musical trends. She was Grammy royalty before her demons brought her down, and the show should've bent itself into pretzels to honor [...]

This years Grammy's were surrounded by tragedy, shrouded in controversy and ended with a South Londoner needing to pay a hefty excess baggage charge when she flies home later this week. With the news that Whitney Houston had been found dead in a hotel room just hours earlier, the ceremony host LL Cool J started the evening with a tribute and prayer for the powerful singer before showing an archive performance of Houston singing 'I Will Always Love You'. The biggest winner on the night was of course Adele winning no less [...]

Getty Thank goodness for the photographers who roamed around backstage and in the audience at the 54th annual Grammy Awards last night (February 12), or else we wouldn't have known Lady Gaga attended the show. The woman who grabbed headlines at last year's show by arriving to the red carpet in an egg/vessel/womb skipped the carpet this year and watched the show and schmoozed with guests, like Paul McCartney , quietly from her seat, while donning a fishnet dress. Other backstage and audience moments included first-time Grammy winner Chris Brown [...]
So, it would have been Adele's night - and some sort of irony that a singer whose launchpad was funded, in part, from the Brit Award receipts turns up at the bigger award ceremony and carries off the prizes. It would have been Adele's night, but for the death of Whitney Houston. One room. So many executives who have pushed their talent a little too hard, or turned a blind eye and sent them out working when they weren't fit. So many musicians who know that the difference between "tragic Whitney" and them was luck rather than judgement. [...]

Adele - Getty Adele is rolling in Grammy gold tonight. The British soul singer made a clean sweep at the 54th annual show, winning all six of the awards she was nominated for, including the big three: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Album Of The Year. "Thank you so much, thank you," the 23-year-old singer said through tears as she accepted her Album Of The Year prize for her multi-platinum sophomore effort, 21 , before thanking her mother and producer Rick Rubin . "This record [...]

Chris Brown After giving a rousing performance of his own and walking away as a first-time Grammy winner, r&b/pop prince Chris Brown returned to the stage for another performance. This time, he was joined by French producer/DJ extraordinaire David Guetta , rapper Lil Wayne , rockers Foo Fighters and Deadmau5 for a performance dedicated to dance music. Breezy, dressed in his best Run DMC get-up, walked out with a ton of dancers carrying large glow sticks for a performance of the David Guetta -assisted track [...]

yah this was pretty cool...In a notable sign that the popular musical tides have shifted, EDM maestros David Guetta & Deadmau5 take their place at the Grammy stages with a little Foo Fighters mixed in between for this cross-genre multi-track medley. Chris Brown comes out in support to begin with, punctuated by a seemingly off-the-top verse from Lil Wayne of all people. Pretty cool, enjoy above. Huge props to Yardie on always getting these vids up and in high quality - give the [...]
