Now he's returned with a new video for the song "The Keeper".  The song is from the soundtrack to the new film Machine Gun Preacher. Last night on David Letterman's late night TV slot, Chris Cornell , the man that fronted the legendary Soundgarden took to the stage with his acoustic guitar to put in a nice performance of "The Keeper" which features on the soundtrack for Machine Gun Preacher . Just when you thought Chris Cornell had got his career back on track by doing the decent thing and reuniting Soundgarden, here he is again taking a step back by resurrecting his (mostly awful) solo career. This past weekend, Pearl Jam celebrated their 20th year together as a band by headlining their own Pearl Jam Twenty festival at the Wisconsin ski resort town of East Troy. Festival attendees had to endure a whole ton of rain, but they also got some big one-night-only collaborations. Pearl Jam played a show over the weekend to celebrate their staying together for 20 years. Not only were the big PJ headlining but the likes of Queens of the Stoneage , The Strokes , Mudhoney and Temple of the Dog made appearances (reformed). It happened again! Another night of celebration as Pearl Jam gathered the teeming masses to Alpine Valley theater in Wisconsin for the second night of their 20th anniversary bash. This weekend isn't just Labor Day weekend but it's also the weekend we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pearl Jam's existence. The band is doing so by holding their own festival at the Alpine Valley theater in East Troy, Wisconsin.
