Stay Positive (aka Stay+, formerly Christian AIDS) are back with the new single "You Hate Me", the first taste of their upcoming Blood Brother ep. Fans of the UK production team's previous work should find that the Cooly G-featuring track falls right in line with the spooky and apocalyptic techno sound they have become known for. Blood Brother is out July 1 via Stay Positive Industries.
We published a GEN F profile on the cheeky but always awfully dark UK producers Stay+ about this time last year, and judging by "Crashed," they've spent the between time polishing a more direct and ... read more

The Christian Aids kids try out a sound more Balearic on new track "Crushed". Stay+ - Crushed Stay+ ( Facebook ) Rating 8.4

Our love affair with Manchester's Stay+ continues with the release of their new single "Crashed", due November 5 on Black Butter Records . Like their previous singles "Crashed" is another ode to the acid-blasted early 902s rave scene, but here the take is a bit smoother without losing it's late night edge.

Coming off the back of their fellow band mate's ( Moses Gold ) new cut, Manc duo Stay + return with new single "Crashed". continue reading >>
This is really good. I know I've said that before, but really really good. An introspective song about depression that blurs genres. I hear Ian Curtis in the vocals over Jimmy Tamborello beats . There is a lengthy, worthwhile, and suprisingly candid interview with Moses Gold aka Phill Young at The Line of Best Fit . "This stuff is going to mean something." Via notorious Ian-lover, substances , via MIXkind .

Do you remember the halcyon days of early 2011 when the defunct Manchester act Christian AIDS (now Stay + ) tried their very best to turn the music industry on its head? Well, the initial lead singer - Moses Gold , aka Phill Young, - has his very own solo project, unveiling his latest track "Powder And Blood" this week. continue reading >>

Listen to and download the new Stay+ track "Eyes" featuring NO CEREMONY/// below. Since NO CEREMONY/// mysteriously sauntered onto our radar and began to fuck it sideways with their brazen attacks on electronic indie music (otherwise known as "HURTLOVE" and "HEARTBREAKER" ), we've been enamoured and intrigued. When you couple them with fellow Mancunian Stay+ and some of the grimiest, most ominous, foreboding, and haunting dance [...]

mp3: Stay+ - Eyes (feat. NO CEREMONY///) We've voiced our affection for Stay+ (formerly Christian AIDS) in the past, but we haven't given any blog love to NO CEREMONY/// . Both are mysterious production entities from Manchester and now they have collaborated on the sinister new track "Eyes". This is what the end of the world might sound like, if we're lucky. NO CEREMONY/// have put out two solid 103 singles "HURTLOVE" and "HEARTBREAKER", which are available here .

MIXTAPE MONDAYS! I would guess about half the music I end up loving comes from mixtapes, so of course Monday is easily my favorite fucking day of the week to share new stuff with y’all. Hence the exclamation point and generally overly excited disposition. This week is off the fucking hinges with all kinds of treats with mixes from Stay+ and Bonobo, Dinowalrus/Blizzardo’s Pete Feigenbaum’s Acid House mix for Sup Mag, Dropping Gems Records second edition of exclusive tracks and UUUUUUU AAAAAAA. Mondays don’t suck. You just need better tunes. [...]

British rave revivalists Stay + (Formerly Christian Aids ) offer us the second great music video of the new year. The band is as cryptic as usual, but youtube tells us that the song features Psychologist and Miss Ballooniverse, presumably on vocals. Its an interesting deviation from their usually ghostly cuts of diva vocals, and the shift from found footage to a originally recorded video doesn't hurt either. 2011 may have been their break out year, but its looks like 2012 will be the year Stay + really get ambitious. [...]
Stay+, the UK-based, self-proclaimed “fictional dance” collective, has an exceptionally spotty history of giving straightforward interviews. Actually, the only one in existence is a string of YouTube videos-as-answers to very direct questions. But beyond the ... read more

Formerly Christian AIDS, Stay+ are the Manchester production team behind "Stay Positive" , one of our favorite electronic tracks of the year. In November they return with a 123 release of "Fever". Watch the video for the new single below. The "Fever" 123 is available in very limited edition at RAMP . RAMP048 / Stay+ - Fever by RAMP Recordings / PTN
They've been making noise around the internet for a while now but it wasn't until I heard this new track from Stay+ in the form of 'Fever' earlier this month that I sat up and taken note. Formally known to the world as Christian Aids (before being forced to change their name by a certain charity) they've been described as 'ghost-rave' by some who seem desperate to ruin life with an ever-increasingly list of fantastical genres. I suppose the echoing vocals in their 'Stay Positive' track are slightly 'spooky' and given Halloween is around the corner [...]

It was announced last month that Stay + 's dark tinged ketamine anthem "Fever" was seeing a release via RAMP records on november 1st. Today they show off their new debauchery filled video. continue reading >>

Manchester's enigmatic but elusive outfit Stay + (formerly Christian AIDS ) have just dropped the video for their upcoming single, Fever. Following the route of previous works, the short is meticulously synced with the music, and intricately intelligent, using visuals to their full effect. The clip tracks the progress of a hazy, drug-fueled night out in Manchester, but played out in reverse order. From putting make-up on and downing a bottle of vodka, to lucid moments in a packed club, Fever is a thought-provoking look at the stereotypical adolescent lifestyle. Yet for all it's cliches [...]
